I didn't even get a message back, and instead he's going to commit to a pitcher with a fastball straight as a grizzly's dick who'll be 35 next month and is owed $40 million. I guess since it's in division I should just let it be.

straight as a grizzly's dick lol, good one! You know I love ya brother, but I don't like 25 year old specs that aren't developed. I didn't have a ton of time to look at things, and just felt we were too far off at the start to be able to get to anything.
Stl, you did have what I felt was the best offer at the time. I was intrigued with the career of the SP you offered as well as the spec. But I also had to look at the "win now" approach I'm taking, cause I know some of my studs are starting to get a little older. I'm still interested in the SP you offered, and we can still talk deal with a different player.
I had a total of 7 offers, and I liked 4 of them and considered a 5th. I know I picked the offer with the oldest return, but also made my decision on my need to win now. It's a roll of the dice but this guy has a career ERA below 4, and SP is what I need. I might only get a good year or two from him, but Forrest has only ever given me a good start or two.

The scientist in me was wondering if grizzly dicks had the straightest dicks of all the bear dicks. Like do some bears have dicks like dolphins where they can grab shit with it? Or are they all just standard dicks? Do they have tiny dicks like gorillas? So many questions.
